We are a family of G.I.A. Graduate Gemologist, Jewelers, goldsmiths, silversmiths, platinumsmiths, blacksmiths, that have been in the jewelry business for three generations. Victoria Marie Jewelers The parent company was started in 1970 by Bill Hawkins Sr. He named the store after his two daughters Theresa Marie Hawkins-Garcea, Who owns Serendipity with her husband Claudio Garcea, and Victoria Dawn Weideman, Who owns Victoria Marie Jewelers. Victoria worked for one of the top antique jewelry dealer in down town L.A. for 12 years before opening her own store in Beverly Hills. She relocated the store to Auburn Washington in 2004. William E.Hawkins Jr.G.G. started his apprentice at age 12, apprenticing under one of St. Louis’s premier jeweler, he was the first in the family (along with Theresa) to get a degree in gemology. In April of 1994 he opened Hawkins Fine Jewelry Manufacturing and Gemological laboratories, one of St. Louise’s largest strictly wholesale Jewelry repair and restoration shops, in 2005 William relocated to Edwardsville, his home town and opened to the public. William is a master Goldsmith, master Silversmith, Master Platniumsmith, Master Blacksmith, G.I.A. Graduate Gemologist, G.I.A. Graduate Jeweler Gemologist, G.I.A. Graduate of Jewelry Manufacturing Arts.William received a Graduate Gemologist degree from The Gemological Institute Of America, along with a degree in Jewelry Manufacturing arts from the same Institute, He also studied Design In L.A. William has continued his education to get an associates degree in Online Marketing.
Custom Design
tWe specialize in custom design and manufacturing, including every stage from rough sketch and rendering to wax carving, casting or hand fabrication, and finished mounting. No challenge is too big for our talented staff.
Besides updating our staff’s skills continuously, HawkinsManufacturing is committed to having the most up-to-date equipment. Our shop includes custom-made tools of our own design, CAD/CAM jewelry manufacturing and a 3d printing system which further expanding the range of custom designs we can implement.
Stone Setting
We believe that proper setting is vital to fully displaying the beauty of the stones in fine jewelry. Our trained gemologists will ensure that your stones are set securely and to the greatest aesthetic advantage, whether the piece is an elegant single-stone ring or a complex work of art.
Some of the setting options we offer include: burnish, pave, bright cut, prong, and bezel. We also prepare Quality Analyst Reports on gemstones.
Appraisal and Gem Identification
Do to the diverse education and experience of our staff we are able to present you the most accurate and cutting edge appraisals on the market. An accurate and detailed jewelry appraisal will provide you with the information necessary to understand the true value of your jewelry. We offer every type of appraisal from “replacement cost” to “fair market. We also offer in house Gem Identification and “Certificates”. It is also important to note that an appraisal differs from a diamond certificate (also called a diamond report). A diamond certificate is a document generated by a gemological laboratory that describes a loose diamond but does not offer any type of valuation. Diamond certificates are not created for mounted or set stones. The key difference between a certificate and an appraisal is that a certificate does not offer a value for the jewelry item.
